Water is the best and simplest remedy for dehydration. Drinking plenty of water for someone diagnosed with mild or moderate dehydration is very beneficial. It is important to rest and drink water in small sips continually over a 24-hour period to replenish the body’s lost fluids.
In the case of severe dehydration, fluids may need to be transmitted into the body intravenously. Glucose water can also help remedy dehydration as it contains electrolytes. Low levels of electrolytes are common with dehydration and can be replaced by having sports drinks and glucose water.
