9. Avocados

Did you know avocados are fruit? They are also packed with heart-healthy monounsaturated fats–the same fats that are in olive oil. You can slowly lower your bad LDL cholesterol and boost your good HDL cholesterol. Avocados also help get rid of harmful triglycerides. You can mash the creamy, mild treat into a guacamole mix or spread it on a cracker. If you don’t prefer that texture, you can opt for a few slices on a sandwich or chop it in a fruit salad. Either way, it is healthy and delicious!
