Restless leg syndrome or RLS is a disease that’s usually taken for granted. That is until it gets serious enough to warrant medical attention. RLS is a condition that causes uncomfortable sensations. The sensations experienced can either be crawling, tingly, creeping feelings. They are then followed by an overwhelming urge to move the affected limbs. Exercise seems to be an answer to all our physical woes, and RLS is no exception. Studies show that a regular regimen of physical activity can help lessen minor RLS symptoms. Plan regular aerobic exercises and resist training for the lower body. These minimize the pains of RLS.

 

 

Physical activity can improve sleep. It gives the body time to rest and heal itself. This sounds like a perfect fit for those suffering from RLS. But exercise should be in moderation. Over-exertion may only aggravate your condition. It may lead to aches and pains and could worsen your RLS symptoms. Always exercise on your comfort levels.
